here's one I used a couple of years ago. I printed it out and rolled it up like a scroll and tucked it under the arm of a little angel doll. I remember when they came out; I used to shop with an elderly lady that collected them. I believe Kirsten was the 1st doll she bought. I don't go to the site much; but I know she's a retired doll. As someone who loves & collects dolls; I wish they would lend her out where they track her. My friend & I used to sew for AG; back before others did. We used to make decent money at craft shows. I have a box of clothes left that I made probably 15 years ago. I'll see if my library has something similar; maybe I'll donate some clothes. Some of you may remember the little 3 year old Chiari girl I post about; every time the AG has a contest on FB we try to win her a doll; she sees the dolly on her moms screen & says "I'd really love to love her" I wish I had money to buy her one. We found that Target & Walmart have the cheaper version; mom almost didn't have Christmas; I had clothes picked out; was going to send to go along with the doll when mom said Christmas isn't happening this year. I was on my way to Walmart Christmas Eve when her mom texted me that she's on her way there too to buy the cheap dolly; someone had given her enough money to buy it; as well as 1 gift for her little brother. The kids had a Christmas miracled after all. I'm glad because for some reason this little girl believes in Santa; her mom never told her about Santa. I kicked myself for not sending the clothes; but she has them now. One day; I hope she's able to have a real dolly. *Kirsten Larson was one of the first three Historical Characters of the American Girl Dolls, representing the Pioneer Era. Kirsten was released in 1986 along with Samantha Parkington and Molly McIntire. American Girl started sending out letters in fall 2009 stating that they would archive Kirsten Larson's entire collection; the doll and her collection would no longer be available for purchase online, at stores, or through catalogs with the exception of books and the mini doll. That was beautiful! BG is so dearly missed. I remember how we all sent pictures of Angels to her, so that she could be encircled by garlands of Angels & know & feel the Love & spirit of the KT surround her in those last weeks. If I remember correctly, Ruthie made her a special Angel-doll too. Bonnie G. will never be forgotten. I must be in a reflective mood today, because I just posted on the "wondering about Spike's" thread, mentioning other people that have been a part of the KT--some are still here, some have moved on, & some have passed away. A lot of caring & love here at the KT!

I'm not sure what secret sisters are, but you could buy some of those bookmarks they sell at the counter at Halmark stores that have cute little poems on them and include those. If you go to any tourist places, zoos, etc, they often have those penny machines that you pay to have them press the penny with a scene you choose. You could have those pennies made for her and include them in your cards. Include little sachets of potpourri.. I love quotes and have lists of them... but you'd probably do best picking out the ones you like. Just go to a quote site and most will have hundreds to choose from.
