I have a neighbor that is going to be chicken-sitting for me in a couple of weeks. She has a birthday coming up. Would I be safe if I asked for some of you good folks to send her a birthday card? Or is this not acceptable? No address until I know the general concensus. - Sybil

Sybil, I understand that you have good intentions here, but I find your request completely unacceptable. My reasons are as follows: 1. If I were your neighbor, I would be very upset that my address was given to strangers. 2. I would not consider sending a card to someone I do not know.

Sorry, I was just curious. That's why I didn't include an address. I guess I think the best of people and don't think anyone would do anything bad. Thanks for your input. Needless to say, I was wrong. - Sybil (P.S. I would love a card from anyone)
