need ideas for a childrens tea party

I want to start a annual tradition with my grandaughters and have a tea party for the girls ages 5-9 and have each invite one friend and of course their mothers. Now us old folks sit around and eat and pretty much entertain our selfs. But what do I do with these young ones all dressed up in their Sunday best. Eating won't be a problem and as the girls get older entertainment will be easier.

You might start out with cookies and kool aid or fruit punch. Maybe with cute paper plates, matching items, with a theme. This age as you know, has a short attention span. Maybe 4-6 girls, about 30 minutes etc.
