Sweet Sixteen!!! HELP!

hi everyone. i've been lurking for a while and thought i'd go ahead and introduce myself. so:
hi, i'm Cassi. i live in georgia. and i'm a student at west georgia university.

moving right along:
My little sister is turning sixteen this year and my mom put me in charge of all the planning. after a talk with Cristal she decided that she wants it to be formal (because she didn't get to to her 8th grade formal and is dying to wear the dress before she outgrows it).
we've already got a location, now all i need is what sorts of food to serve, what to put on the invitation (so kids will know what to wear), and what kinds of decorations do i need?

her birthday is April 2nd, we're having the party the day after at a friend's house (she has this beautiful wrap around porch that extends all the way out over a lake.
it's an evening party and we know we're going to string up lanterns and decorate the porch rails with twinkle lights. she wants a midsummer night's dream feel to it so how can i decorate for that?

RE: Sweet Sixteen!!! HELP!

Hi,

I'm new to the website... and my greatest disappointment is that I didn't participate before they charged people. It seems most of the people who used to contribute ideas and keep the boards moving have dropped off.

I'm so sorry you didn't get any responses.

How did the party go?
