| Hello all
I have a 1/3 HP craftsman garage door opener. I have had it for 4 yrs and have not had any problems. I can normally open the garage from the street, but just yesterday I have to get out of the car and hold the remote at the top of the garage to get it open. I first thought it was my battery but my wife has the same problem. Any suggestions Thanks

| Sounds like an antenna issue. Your antenna and reciever are a part of your circuit board. You can either A) Replace your circuit board or B) Find a piece of wire that is similar in gauge to the antenna wire. Cut and splice it into the antenna wire and run it to the front of the garage and see if it helps the range of the remotes. |
