Craftsman GDO remotes

Hello,

I have just replaced my Craftsman GDO w/a brand new Craftsman unit, The installation was easy, the problem is with the car remotes,I programed them at the motor and to test them I got off the ladder and went out to the driveway,standing about eight feet from the door the remote fails to work I keep trying until I am almost inside of the garage.....

The old unit would open the door at the end of the driveway maybe even farther....

Any thoughts

You have a problem that is not going to be corrected by an adjustment. The logic board is bad. Hope you are still in warranty.

Dear Don,

The GDO is less than a week old, what should I do???

Call Sears. It has a warranty.

The wireless phone system that I have in the house was interfering with the GDO remotes

We unpluged the phone base unit and the GDO worked fine, afterwards I plugged the base back in and it searched for the other handsets and now everything is working again!!
