| I installed my new garage door opener, Craftman model# 139.18458D, about 1 month ago. It was working fine, then one day when I tried to open it with the remote, the motor continued to push the door downward and bent the metal bracket. I have since unhooked the track from the garage door, and no adjustments are helping. The LED light blinks 5 times when i hit the remote button. I have done all the other checks that I know and have read on these sites, nothing appears to help. I am wondering if there is any suggestions, other than paying a service call? Thx. |

| It sounds like a bad logic board. If it is only about a month old why not call Sears and get warranty service? |
