| my Craftsman GDO plastic gear is shredded, could you walk me thru the replacement? Do I have to remove the entire shaft with the bad gear attached or can I remove the bad gear by itself? What drive head is on those two little screws? |

| Detailed instructions come with the parts kit from Sears. You remove the shaft, replace two gears and reinstall along with some other included hardware. |
