I just replaced my gear and sprocket assembly in my craftsman 1/2hp unit. It worked fine twice but now is stuck in the up position. I can manually release and close the door. But if i just hit the button all the unit does is hum and the green light flashes. Any ideas what i need to do?!!!!

Loosen the chain to take the tension off the trolley and then run the opener until the door is closed. While the door is closed locate the 'up limit' adjustment on the side of the motor unit. Turn this control 2 full turns in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover. Tighten the chain.
