| Door closes fine. Opens half way & stops. Pressing button repeatedly to make it inch down, then inch back up again - eventually gets it open. Then I noticed that the door has some latitude to "slide" from side to side (about an inch each way) and when I physically "pull" the door sideways to center it, it opens without a problem. But it consistently & consistently "drifts" to the one side - and then I have the problem again. Any ideas ?? Is there some adjustment that keeps the door "centered" ??

| This may not help, but I have noticed that about once a year I need to get out the WD40 and give my unit's screw drive a good dose of WD40 as it stops opening all the way no matter how many times I press the button. Sometimes I also give the rollers and their track a dose, too. I squirt it, then run it and squirt it all. Be sure to do it when the cars are not in the garage, as it can make a mess on them! Good luck to you, |
