| i bought a mcculloch 3214 chainsaw at our local salvation army thrift store here in homer alaska for 16.50. as is . the pull start cord was out comepletely and tied to the handle. after dinner i told my 14 yr old son pat that we had a project in the garage. i let him do almost all the r&r on it. we added a little fresh gas and it started right up. i think the chain is mid/small-.325 can someone confirm this. i also have a small craftsman (poulon) with 1/4 pitch chain. im a regular firewood getter, and mostly use my stihls, a 066, and an 038 mag ll. my boys use them too and i also have a husky 61 |
