Help! We have a 1/3 HP Craftsman Garage Door Opener, installed 1994, Model 53325SRT. The door goes up when using either the remote or wall switch. When we try to put the door down, it automatically stops and the light blinks as if something was blocking the sensors thus keeping the door from going down. This is not the case however since the lights are green on the sensors and there are no obstructions at the bottom of the door. The only way to put the door down is to push the wall switch button and keep it down until the door goes all the way down. What concerns me is the green indicator light next to the smart button on the opener unit blinks constantly which indicates a problem. I already replaced the remote with a new Craftsman unit but it did not help and it was very difficult to program. I think it took 10 minutes for the light to blink indicating that the remote was programmed. Thanks, I hope someone can help!
