| I have a 1995 Stanley garage door opener. The door does NOT have sensor eyes. I specifically purchased a remote for this opener last week from a site online. I programmed the remote and it opens the door fine. When I try to close the door, the light starts to blink and nothing happens. When I open the door using the wall "doorbell," it opens fine. To close it using this doorbell, I have to hold it down until the door is closed. My handyman just installed the "doorbell." |

| You may not have sensor eyes but you should have. They were mandated in 1992 and the symptoms you describe are perfect examples of door sensor problems. |
