| Craftsman 1/2hp model139.53970srt, replaced gear sproket now I need to get to the worm gear but unable to free shaft bearing, help! Thanks for your input. |

| Don't worry about replacing the worm gear. If you didn't loosen the two allen head screws that hold the shaft coupler on, just put it back together and it will be fine. Just make sure there are no medal shavings too otherwise you need to replace the whole gear and sprocket assembly. |
