Does that solid vinyl trim, that is about 3/4 thick work for a jam for a garage door? I do not have a break to wrap 2 by material, and I am about 70 miles from the closest person that could wrap the 2 by in metal. It would cost more for their driving than for the work. I am considering that 3/4 thick vinyl trim to use. I know there is always paint, but I want it lower maintenance. I would be using standard brick mold to trim out the outside edge.
