I just moved into a home with a Craftsman 1/2 HP Garage Door system. How do you reprogram the garage door key pad without the password? I reprogammed it when I first moved in, but it wouldnt take and after a few tries, it is not accepting either password (old or new).

On the back of the motor unit near where all those white wires go you will find the smart/learn button. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to your keypad and key in your four digit number and press enter. Should do it.
