| My house has a Craftsman 1/2 HP GDO, Model #139.53976SRT. I have no manual. How do I program the keypad? The previous owner said she never programmed it. One of my remotes also does not work. How do I reprogram it?? |

| If the remote and the keypad are compatible to the opener you can do this. Find the smart/learn button on the back of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. You may have to remove a light lens. First the remote. Press and hold the button on the remote while you press and immediately release the smart/learn button. Now the keypad. Press and immediately release the smart/learn button and then walk over to the keypad and key in any 4 digit number and press enter. Should do it for you. |
