I have a 1/2 HP craftsman garage door opener. It was installed in 1999. It failed to work one week ago, may be because I pressed the lock-button. The brocket was broken when my wife manually lift the door. I replaced it and the opener works. But when I pressed the lock-button once, the door stopped to move again, although the chains still can move. The door can be opened manually, I also checked the rope switch, and it can be engaged. Thanks for any suggestions.
