| I am building a 24x30 barn in massachusetts
www.geobarns.com Starting to get prices for excavation and concrete. I have no reference for these prices. Can anyone tell me if these are high for pricing.
$3000 excavation
They seem kind of high to me, but as I said I have no reference for them. I am going to get multiple quotes. Any help is appreciated. Any key points I should be talking to them about or asking them for? Thanks gabedad |

| Do these prices include permits? What kind of foundation? Is four foot depth required? (It may be, I don't know for your area) Leaving or hauling away the excavated dirt (except for backfill)? Rebar or wire mesh in the slab? I'd want to get at least three bids before committing. |

| My garage is 24x28 with 5ft foundation & footings, 6" slab, left dirt on site was around $10K - 10 yrs ago........ |

| The Higgens garage is really built. Save all of the specs and paperwork for the next owner and owners, this building will last. Inflation will or may double that cost.. |
