old old sears roebuck garage opener

Good Morning!

OLD OLD Sears Roebuck opener Model 139.655000 remotes stopped working - both of them at the same time - about a week ago. Batteries are fine, electric opener is fine, no known power surges. I do not see ANY type of reset switches on the outside box of the main motor. I tried unplugging the main power for 10 minutes, still nothing from the remotes.

Both remotes quitting at the same time points directly to the receiver. You aren't going to find parts available for this unit. You can purchase a universal receiver and transmitter(s) at Sears or Radio Shack. I think it runs around $80.00 with 2 remotes. Due to the age I would get a new opener.
