I've got an older Genie opener - don't know the model number, but it says "Genie Professional Automatic Door Opener System" on the unit.

The unit recently picked up a bad habit - it stops randomly part way thru opening or closing. It just "turns off" - no lights, no clicks, no screeches, no nothing. It's like it gets unplugged. If I knock on the box a bit, sometimes it starts again and works fine. Then it will stop for a minute or an hour or a week. I've checked the electrical connection and it's got power.

Any ideas would help - even just finding where to look for the model number of the unit.
