Craftsman GDO owners manual

If anyone out there has an owner's manual for a Craftsman 1/2 HP Garage door opener model 130.536XXXX I am in desperate need of your assistance. We purchased a home 2 yrs ago with this GDO and previous owners did not leave the manual. We have the keyless entry pad and two remotes for our cars and have NO CLUE how to program the keypad to open the door.

The opener itself is working very well, thank you. Although after going through the hundreds of posts on this Forum I must say we feel like "the lucky few" in that regard.

Thanks in advance for your help!

On the rear of your motor unit near where all those white wires go you will find the smart/learn button. Press and immediately release this and walk over to your keypad and key in any 4 digit code you like. Then press enter. Should do you. By the by, Sears has sold millions of these openers. There are several "lucky few" out there.

will try your suggestion tonight, don_1_2006. Saw that button and wondered what it did.
