Problem with Garage Door Opener Sensors

The sensors on our Craftsman 3/4HP are not working so to close the garage door we have to push and hold the button down (can not close the door with the remote). There is nothing lit up on either of the sensors (no green or yellow lights), almost like the sensors have gone out or they are not getting power. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

If you have had electrical storms it is most likely your logic board has taken a hit but check the wiring from the motor unit to the sensors. You could have a broken wire.
