Garage door opener stops working after 3 or 4 uses

I get 5 codes flashing(rpm sensor or overheated).

I unplug and 2 hours later or so...It will work again for 3 or 4 times.and then the 5 flash code again.

I lubricated track and rollers and the chain for the opener. Garage door seems to be smooth enough and nothing sticking. It is 2001 Chamberlain 1/2 HP opener. It is pulling up a double garage door. I had switched this 1/2 HP opener from my single garage door because the original one on the double garage door was sporadic and just going up a few inches and stopping.

The 1/2 HP on the single garage has been used maybe 40 to 60 times in its 10 year life. It was working fine on the single garage door before I switched to the double car garage.

I've adjusted the upward force and downward force and have tried it on 3,5,7, and 9 settings for both upward and downward.

Opener will work fine(slide back and forth) if the garage door is not attached and pulled.

Optical sensors seem to be working ok.

Any idea?

thanks,Randy
