Sears garage door opener 139.53629srt

Mine does not want to open the door. Limit switch contact
(brown wire) closed. Door closed. When I press wall button motor turns in the direction to close instead of open.

Any ideas?

What occurred prior to this situation? Had you done any work on the opener? Any adjusting?
