| recently had a remote stolen out of my vehicle wife still has hers. Was wondering if there was a way to reset or change the frequency or something like that to secure my garage and house or do i need to go buy another garage door opener. any hlep woul dbe greatly appreciated |

| Generally yes, especially with newer openers. There's usually some kind of reset, often holding down the program button for some period of time or until a light flashes a certain way. Then you just reprogram you wife's remote. The stolen remote will not work. |
