| A friend tried to help me out while I was on grandfather duty and did something to my 4 cycle ryobi weed eater so that the pull cord is stuck and will not pull out. I cannot find a repair man close (live way out in country) and was going to take it apart myself. Any ideas????
Manual does not have any information on pull cords being frozen. |

| One loop of the pull-cord probably slipped off of the pulley, jamming the mechanism. Freeing it up should be easy and obvious when you remove the rewind assembly. |
