| As part of the transaction do you pay a deposit of 50% upfront as part of the the garage door sales process?
I have never order an replacement door before so I just wanted to know if that is standard practice. Thanks. |

| Never heard of such a thing. I would be very wary of someone that wanted such a high deposit. 10% is normal. |

| Don, Thanks. I will talk it over with my installer when he gets done writing the contract. I might even show him this if he tell me that 50% is "the standard". If anyone else has an opinion on this please reply! Harry |

| I've never given a deposit unless it was for a custom door. After all, if you stiff the installer, he can lien your house. |
