| Are you planning to build a new shed? Here are a few dozen of what I think are the best free plans on the Internet:
http://www.abetterbackyard.net/freeshedplans.html Most have complete material lists and step-by-step instructions for do-it-yourself builders. If you know of any other good quality free shed plans or, better yet, if you've built a shed or small barn from free plans, please post here. Photos would be great. Thank you! Don |

| All those links are useful, thank you! Most sheds require a sensible foundation. The previous owner poured the concrete flush with the grass, so it rotted at the bottom and fell down. I will elevate the walls with a tall sill plate of 2x4 then 2x6 then 2x4. Doors are a pain to make. I will buy or find some exterior doors on freecycle. |
