| I have a sears 1/2hp garage door opener. It has been working perfect for the past 3 months and now when it closes it goes all the way to the ground and then opens back up. I have messed with the up and down adjustment knobs and it has made no difference. When It gets to the ground it does look like it is still trying to go down a litte further cause the overhead track kind of binds a little and bows up. Suggestions please!!!! |

| On the side of the motor unit you will find the 'up and down limit' controls. Using a small screwdriver turn the 'down limit' a couple turns in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover. You will probably have to tweak this to get it just right. Remember when tweaking if you run the door too much the thermal switch on the motor will turn it off and you will have to wait about 15 minutes for it to cool. This is a normal. |
