| Hi - our P.O. neglected to install the springs and openers for 2 garage doors (and our realtor neglected to make it right even though she "promised" it would be done).
For one year, the springs and openers have been in our garage, the doors are hung (hopefully right) but you can't even manually open the garage doors unless you have a person help you (because the springs are not installed). We have been told not to mess around trying to DIY this one. Any estimate how much time/money it should cost for a reasonable handyman in a rural town (in Indiana) to install the doors? Thanks!

| Call an overhead garage door company. If these are torsion springs, go across the front of the door, they can be tricky and dangerous to install. |

| What kind of springs? By opener you mean an electric garage door openers? Times two. Maybe $400 to $650 depending on what's involved. Plus materials if necessary. |
