garage opener learn button

trying to program some remotes on my sears craftsman 1/2 hp chain drive garage door opener and the LEARN BUTTON isn't blinking like it should when pressed. it stays solid for about 15 secs then goes out. i think the logic board might need replacing. thoughts?

Hello i also have an crraftsman door opener green learn button and its doing same thing...sooo that means that the logic board is bad.???
