| Whenever there's thunder and lightning our garage door opens. The opener is about 15 yrs old and we've only had to replace batteries - no problems ever. Called the installer who referred us to another installer and he charges $85. to come out and check the opener. What could be causing this problem? |

| I would suggest a new opener. You will most likely pay $85.00 to someone who will tell you to get a new opener. 15 years is about 5 years beyond the normal lifetime of a door opener. |
