I have a Sears 1/2hp opener. I have 2 remotes and 1 wireless keypad. All 3 remotes will open and close the garage door with no problem. However when I open the garage door with the wall unit or remotes I must wait 5 min for the lights on the opener to go off before i can use the remotes to close door or reopen door. I have cleared codes and re-programed all remotes with no change in results. In the past i was able to open and close door with all remotes even if the garage door lights were on.
