 o
Overhead Door Corporation--Do you recommend their doors?

We would like to replace our 8x7 garage door. We have looked, via the internet, at Martin, Amarr, Carriage Door Company, Wayne Dalton, Clopay, Holmes, Raynor, and most recently, Overhead Door.
After considering many styles, we are now leaning toward a modern style aluminum and glass door. We like the look of the Martin Athena 212.
We were referred to a garage door installer who came out and discussed a few options. He said that Martins are very good but really expensive and he recommended Overhead Door--the 511 or 521--if we wanted the aluminum door.
Do any of you have any experience with Overhead Door's doors? If you have any insight or have a recommendation of another brand, we would love to hear it.
FWIW, our door faces east-north, does not get much direct sun or wind, but we are about 150 feet from the ocean, which is why we are reluctant to get a wood door.

Thanks for your help.

Nothing wrong with Overhead Door. They are generally local and compete well. Martin Doors on the other hand is quality plus therefore the price.
