My son recently purchased a house with a Sears opener. The previous owner said he never used the remote outdoor pad and had no idea what the code was.Its a older pad # 139.53776 on back. The opener has a SR code button on the rear of the opener. The pad has no # or* just numbers. How can I reprogram this ?? Help ---- Please

RE: Keyless Entry Pad

On the back of the motor unit near where all those white wires go you will find a button. Press and immediately release this button and then walk over to the keypad and key in your favorite four digit number and then press enter. If this doesn't work the keypad has an internal battery that could be bad. If so replace it and then follow the above instructions. Should get you going.
