| Hi!
We have a condo at the beach with only exterior stairs... not good in Noreaster's- We want to build stairs from inside the garage to the first floor living space and don't know how to calculate the height. The garage is 10'7" high and we want to bring it into the living room. The garage is 23' deep and currently has 3'wide steps to an exterior side door, so we know the steps will not interfere with using the garage for the car. Steps will be 12" deep and risers will be 7"- 9" high. Also, where do we place the landing(s)? Thanks! |

| There are several issues in play here that cannot be answered without a site-visit to examine the existing structure. I'd recommend getting at least three proposals and bids from local remodlers. |
