| My neighbor has a craftsman mondel 139.53325SRT garage door opener that won't close. When I unhook the chain, and hit the button, the motor will breifly think about going down, then go all the way up to the up-limit (if not already there). The sensors are wired good, LED's are lit, and the lights don't blink when this happens. The only thing I noticed out of the ordinary is that the LED for programming remotes will blink 5 times, pause, then blink 5 times... Any help will be appreciated, thanks. |

| The LED blinking 5 times is the code for "motor overload or RPM sensor". According to your statement the motor is running and the chain is moving. That leaves a bad RPM sensor. |
