liftmaster 3280 belt drive

Can anyone help me I just had a 3280 liftmaster opener installed and I have a couple of issues with it. When it opens and shuts it jerks and when opening the door it is pretty quiet but when shutting it seems noisy, also just wondering if it should be noisy in the room above the opener as mine is. Everything i have read says they are very quiet mine is not. I have had the company that put it in out twice and they tell me all that is normal. I was wondering if the 3850 liftmaster would be more quiet. Any help on these issues would be appreicated.

If you have the extension springs you should lubricate the rollers that the cables ride on, especially the ones by the door. The cables should glide around the rollers,
when the rollers are dry the cables will cause the door to jerk when closing. Try this remedy. Use WD 40 or some kind of lubricant, do not use grease.
