| Please help me! We inherited a Sears 1/2hp garage door system with our home (probably pre-1997). I was able to program my old homelink transmitter with the garage door opener but have since purchased a new car and need to use the old remote. Remote doesnt want to work - changed batteries, etc. Wall unit will open/close but cant figure out what is wrong with the remote. Bought a new universal for garage but the code on the old remote isnt working so I cant program the new remote either. I dont have the manual - is there someplace I can look for the right codes to flip the switches? Also, my old remote has a +, 0, - and all the new remotes just have on and off. Thanks!, Jenn |

| How did you program the homelink? Does the motor unit have the smart/learn button on the back? If it does, press the button on the remote and then press and immediately release the smart/learn button. Try this same procedure with your new remotes and please post back. |
