I just bought a house with a craftsman garage door opener. I can get the keypad to work (it came with the house) and I can get my remote to work (it came from my old craftsman opener). Not both. I go through the exact same steps that get either/or to work pressing "enter" on the keypad at the exact moment I hit the button on my remote and the opener sees neither. If I have one working and try to program the second, the second is not even acknowledged by the opener. I have been racking my brain on this for 2 days!!! Am I having problems with these because they are different frequencies??? Keypad is FCC ID HBW1216 and remote is HBW1136. Any help offered is GREATLY appreciated!!!
