Garage Door Opener Stopped Working

I have an old Crawford 1/3 HP Model Number 41A3039. Yesterday it just stopped working. No sound, nothing. Not by remote, not by wall panel. It is old, it has no safety sensors. When I use eth remote or the wall panel the light does come on. So I know it has power. But I hear nothing.

With a previous opener with a similar problem hitting the reset button helped (I think), but on this one I dont even see a reset button.

Any ideas?

Was/is the door stuck in the open position?

No closed. I released the door from the chain now so I can open and close it manually.

I would take the cover off the motor housing and look around for a loose wire. Check the start capacitor for leakage. You can even pull the logic board and check for burnt or missing traces on the printed circuit. Beyond that you are pretty well stuck. The logic board is no longer available and the motor is way too expensive. I think it's time to upgrade.

I took a look inside it. I see no obvious loose connection. Its a 20+ year old opener and is noisy as hell. This may be a good excuse to replace it.
