We are building a new home. I would like to use an acid stain to etch a color on the concrete floor of my garage and the driveway to the garage. Although the product claims to be permanent, I have researched and found that the color does fade with wear and tear over time. My question, can you restain the same area to achieve a new look when the fading occurs? Is a sealer necessary or will that prevent the concrete from being etched a second time. I would like to use a Kemiko stain unless there is an improved stain now on the market.
