| I have a 1/2 HP Craftsman GDO. I just replaced the worm gear and now the door goes up and hits the frame of the opener and stops. It makes a humming sound and locks in place.
Any ideas on what adjustments need to be made. Also, is there a way to restore the factory settings on the opener? Thanks in advance for the help. |

| On the side of the opener you will find 2 holes. One is the 'down limit' and the other is the 'up limit'. Turn the 'up limit' several turns in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover. You will probably have to adjust the 'down limit' also. There is no way to restore the factory settings. They wouldn't be right for your door anyway. |
