Craftsman Garage door opener

I've got an older 1/2hp chain drive Craftsman garage door opener. Yesterday it started acting up. The wall switch was activated and the door went half way down and then stopped. I reset power to the opener and got it to go down using a remote switch. Now it will go up and down with a remote, but it will start going up or down by itself and will not operate at all using the wall switch. Has anybody seen this?. Also does anybody have a pinout and/or voltage chart for the wall switch?

Sounds like the wall control is bad. Try disconnecting it and see if your problems don't stop.
