Model # 139.53638SRT

When I hit the remote control the door moves about a foot. It then stops and comes back.

It sometimes stops between limit switches. If I push the remote a few times it will come back to the limit switch and then work fine. Maybe a couple of hours later I can push the remote again & it is screwed up again.

I have checked the sensors and they are working fine.

I adjusted down force control, sometimes it helps and other times it does not.

The garage door moves freely when not attached to the opener.

Any suggestions?
