| I have a Sears Craftsman garage door opener which is about 10 yrs old. I had to replace the worm and drive gears. All new parts are working, however, when activated the door opener only cycles enough to open the door about 20 inches. Adjustment of Limits and Force do nothing to change the cycle.
Is there some sort of reset on the circuit board that I am missing? Anybody else experience this problem? |

| Sounds like the chain was not reinstalled correctly. Loosen the chain and remove it from the sprocket on top of the motor unit. With the door closed, use the remote and run the motor until that sprocket turns clockwise and stops. Reinstall the chain and give it a try. I hope you remember the settings for the force and limit adjustments. |
