| I have 12" deep kitchen cabinets without doors and without shelves. They were a freebie after kitchen mess up.
Would these be a good install in a garage? Obviously they are free...which is good. I am wondering if the garage gurus would recommend deeper shelves or more more open shelves...i.e. less kitchen like. Please let me know. |

| Lots of people use old kitchen cabinets in their garage. I use IKEA kitchen cabinets. |

| It really depends on what you plan to store in them. We have Gladiator® garage cabinets in our attached garage and IKEA® kitchen cabinets in our detached workshop. All of the cabinets are useful but the 12" deep cabinets and shelves hold only smaller items like hand tools, cleaning fluids, oils, paints, light bulbs, books, etc. We find the deeper 18" wall lockers and 24" drawers are far more versatile. If you have the opportunity, I advise adding some base cabinets/drawers. |
