Why does my Craftsman GDO open randomly

I have a Craftsman Model #139.53515SR. Worked fine until we recently tried to add a third remote. We used the smart button and now the door opens randomly. We'll come home and the door is open, we'll hear it open when were in the house...WHY. We were told to do these two things, neither worked, we removed the batteries from all remotes, door still opened at random. We disconnected the wall button, again it didn't work. We've unplugged and replugged the motor hoping it would reset itself..didn't work. I don't know what else to do. I'm having to unplug the motor to keep it closed. PLEASE HELP! Was told to call Chamberlin and they said they don't have the instructions for this unit anymore...TO BAD I guess!

Try disconnecting the wires from the wall control at the motor unit. They go to terminals 1 and 2 and sometimes a staple will wear through the insulation. Don't disconnect any other wires and remember which wire goes where.
