| I read that another electrical appliance (any kind) can interfer with the remote control for your garage door opener. My remote when new would work 1/2 block away and then, all of a sudden, it would only work if I was standing directly in front of the door and click it about a dozen times! I had added a remote control around christmas time to turn on/off a lamp in the kitchen. I unpluged that control and now my garage remote is working perfect - hope this solution may give others an idea on how to solve their remote problems. |
